Our Story...
Fenns Farm has been home to five generations of the Renshaw family. Traditionally a dairy and sheep farm, on the hills of the Staffordshire Peak District, the farm focused on suckler-herd and beef production in the 1990s. In more recent times, several of the original, stone farm-buildings have been thoughtfully converted into holiday accommodation to suit all pockets - from simple camping barns to luxury self-catering holiday cottages.
All the barns were originally used to house cattle in the winter months and to also store hay in their loft areas; Fenns Barn was also used as a stable for the farm's shire horses in the early days and Foggs' Barn is one of the oldest barns on the farm and appears on the first maps of the area; it was also used as the main farm dairy, where milk was stored ready for collection each day. These two barns are located in the original farmyard near to the main farmhouse and guests have the opportunity to book both adjacent properties if larger family groups wish to get together. Wills and Waterslacks barns are both typical Peak District field barns, where a few cattle would be milked each day and housed snugly during the cold months. These two barns are both away from the main farmyard, enjoying quiet locations and stunning views.

We never tire of the beauty of our area and enjoy walks with our family along the many footpaths from our door, surprised at how many new and undiscovered routes we find each year. The Renshaw family (Jason, Michelle and the girls) look forward to welcoming you to Fenns Farm Accommodation.
